This year the course is a flat 5km loop that follows the Stockton foreshore walking track taking in views of the Hunter River, Newcastle Harbour, Nobbys Lighthouse and Stockton Beach. After lunch how about taking your full tummies for a lovely stroll around any of Newcastle or Lake Macquarie's many beautiful waterfront walks. There are too many to list here but Hunter Hunter is a great resource for all sorts of activities in the area. Their list of walks have short strolls all the way up to long hikes and everything in between.
