Do you also offer luxury wedding night accommodation?

Yes. In fact our packages do include your wedding night accommodation in our luxury Honeymoon Suite right here at the hotel. So it’s only a short walk at the end of your reception to relax with a bottle of bubbly in your room as a married couple!

Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes we certainly do. After the minimum deposit is paid we can work with you to tailor a plan that will suit you. Lump sums or small monthly instalments – whatever will work for you we are happy to assist.

Do you take on multiple weddings a day?

No we do not. We allow only one wedding ceremony and reception per day to ensure privacy at your event as well as sufficient time for your reception venue to be set up.

How long have you been working in the wedding industry?

Our Events Manager and Supervisor have over 20 years’ experience between them with weddings and events of all shapes and sizes from elaborate affairs of 250 guests to couples eloping in Tasmania and everything in between. Our Events Manager has worked all over Australia but loves being back on the east coast of Australia. We have a fantastic relationship with many of the businesses in the Newcastle/Hunter area providing to the wedding industry and are happy to help you with any and all aspects of your wedding day with as much advice as you need.

What are your 3 tips for a fabulous wedding reception?

Prioritise – Start out with what is really important for your wedding day. For some that may be the location or perhaps the dress or having every member of your family present. Keep this in mind at all times so that you don’t lose sight of what it is you’re planning and get caught up doing something you really don’t need or want to do.

Budget – Once you’ve set your priorities then set your budget. Doing it the other way round will easily mean you will blow the budget. Knowing what your priorities are first means you will also know the things that aren’t important and where you can save on spending your precious dollars.

Relax – You’re getting married! Once the day arrives, just enjoy it. If something changes or the flowers are a little late Don’t Worry About It - Your guests will wait for you! If all the planning is done well then you don’t need to think about anything but having a great time.

Above all, each of the above tips can be made easier by having a dedicated wedding coordinator at your venue to assist at all stages of your wedding.
